Custom Orders of
Homemade Gari
We accept custom orders (OEM) primarily for sushi restaurants and Japanese restaurants that tailor the seasoning and recipe to each establishment’s specifications, so please feel free to contact us for more information.
Every step of creating our homemade gari, from processing the ginger (scraping of the skin with a bamboo spatula) to seasoning, is done by hand by our expert artisans.
We use additive-free domestically produced ginger.*
*For customers who wish to keep costs down, we can prepare gari using Thai ginger which has a relatively lower price.
Products can be delivered after about one week after meeting and deciding the seasoning.

2Meeting
We will meet and discuss things like customer preference for the recipe and flavoring (whether they prefer sweet or salty), as well as whether to use domestically produced ginger or domestically produced polished fresh ginger, and their preference of white vinegar or red vinegar for the brewing vinegar.
3Start of Production / Sample Check
We will start production based on the specifications that have been decided. Before completion of the product, we will send a sample so the taste can be checked ahead of time.
4Delivery
The product will be delivery around one week after production starts. We will consult with customers separately on shipping and delivery methods.
